sktime_version()[source]

Version of sktime from which the object originates.

Part of packaging metadata for the object.

  • String name: "sktime_version"

  • Private tag, developer and framework facing

  • Values: string, sktime version identifier

  • Example: "0.30.0"

  • Default: no restriction

The sktime_version tag of an object is a string specifying the sktime version from which the estimator class originates, i.e., the version in which the class was first added to sktime.

The tag is used for packaging metadata and provenance tracking of the object.

IMPORTANT: this tag is automatically set by the base classes. It should not be manually set by developers.
