Whether the splitter natively implements splitting for hierarchical data.

This tag applies to time series splitters ("splitter" type) only.

The tag specifies whether the splitter natively supports and implements splitting for hierarchical time series data structures (e.g., pandas MultiIndex hierarchies). If False, the base class will use a generic fallback by iterating over individual hierarchy levels or instances.

Developer tag, not user-facing, used to control internal dispatch.
